This is Monmouth's staple. Think toasted almonds, fruity, balanced acidity, smooth body, medium to dark roast.

They use their Santa Catalina (Guatemala) as the base of the espresso, adding Lo Mejor De Nariño (Colombia) for high notes and complexity and Pedra Branca (Brazil) for cocoa notes.

About the grind options

Cafetière
A coarse grind also suitable for cold brew. We use the word cafetière, but this can also be referred to as a French press, plunger or press pot.

Aeropress slow
Suitable for making a long, filter style coffee, often brewed for a few minutes. Similar to the Filter setting.

Filter
This is suitable for paper filters and ceramic or plastic cones, along with other brands such as V60, Clever dripper and Melitta.

Stovetop
This is an espresso style grind suitable for use in hob top espresso pots such as a Bialetti or Grunwerg. Sometimes referred to as a moka pot.

Aeropress fast
This is also an espresso style grind ideal for brewing a short, concentrated, espresso style coffee in an Aeropress.

Domestic espresso
A fine grind for using in your home espresso machine. Grind requirements will vary depending on brand and model, but this setting aims to work for the majority of home setups.
